American Brooks Koepka backed up his big claim that ‘Majors are the easiest tournaments to win’ by taking a wire-to-wire victory at the PGA Championships. Bethpage Black is a notoriously tricky track but Koepka was firmly in control with a seven-shot lead heading into Sunday. However, the risk of a blowup was always there and after playing holes 11 through 14 four-over par, it looked like the chasing Dustin Johnson had the potential to haul the leader in. But it wasn’t to be as Koepka claimed his fourth major title by two strokes and his fourth in his last eight major starts.
