Welcome to another addition of our newsletter. A bogey-free 64 on Sunday saw American Patrick Cantlay claim the Memorial Tournament by two shots from Adam Scott at the weekend. It was Cantlay's second PGA Tour title and has propelled him into the world's top ten after a string of decent results in recent weeks.
During the same event, Matt Kuchar’s ‘nice guy’ reputation took yet another hit after he asked for a free drop when his ball came to rest in an existing pitch mark. After the initial rules official rejected Kuchar's claim, Kuchar asked for a second official who also swiftly dismissed the American's request. And, you guessed it, Kuchar wanted a third opinion by which point he was told to simply get on with things. Enjoy the read. |
